Mr. Jean-Pierre Girard has over 35 years of experience in the electronic and electrical equipment field with management responsibilities in application engineering, field service, product safety, process improvements, quality management, e-business, business assessments, asset management and executive sales with utilities and consulting firms. He has acquired expertise in asset management applied to critical infrastructures and operational data management.
Mr. Girard was with Siemens for more than 22 years where he has held several executive positions. From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Girard was the Account Executive responsible for Hydro-Québec and SNC-Lavalin representing all business units of Siemens.
He has been involved internationally in a leadership role in numerous business councils and company-wide transformation initiatives. Mr. Girard has been member of the board of the Quebec Electrical Industry Association. He has also been actively involved in technology innovation and in the cultural sector.
