I have a utility background includijng 25 years in engineering and technical leadership with Great River Energy. My engineering focus has been on telecommunications and wireless technology including land mobile radio and SCADA communications. While my work experience focused on technology and telecommunications, my educational background is in power systems.
Serving on Utilities Technology Council’s Board of Directors for nearly 10 years including serving as UTC’s first chairwoman of the board provided me with leadership experience including strategy, vision, finance, and partnerships. During my tenure on UTC’s board, I served as Chair of Public Policy Division for four years which provided me a great deal of experience in advocacy and public policy matters related to technology and spectrum issues in the utility industry.
