Bob Lockhart is Manager of Cybersecurity Programs at UTC. He has five years’ experience in electricity grid cyber security, with 23 years’ total experience in Information Security. Bob was previously Research Director of the Smart Utilities program at Navigant Research, with oversight for five market analysts researching electricity transmission, distribution, smart metering, energy efficiency, home energy, software, telecommunications, data analytics, and cyber security. His own research focused on grid cyber security, meter data management, and distribution automation. He also has recently performed extensive market research on biometrics technologies.
Prior to Navigant Research, Bob had a widely varied career over 31 years at EDS, including positions as Chief Security Officer, Product Portfolio Manager, Systems Engineering Manager, New Business Development Manager, Data Center Manager, Software Development Manager, and Software Developer. Bob is a current CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
